This beautifully designed boat based on an Edwardian Inspection/Gentleman’s Launch is the absolute ultimate in luxury and unique to the Lancaster Canal! Continuing with our tradition of Italian musical terms we have named our most elegant boat Glissando. Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday break or an exclusive romantic retreat or celebrating a special occasion Glissando will more than certainly deliver.
Glissando’s vital statistics are 6’10” wide, 47′ long with a maximum head height of 6’4″ & sleeps 2 in ultimate luxury. The wow factor of this unique boat is the large canopied front deck accessed by full height double glass doors leading to the beautiful bow, hand-finished in solid oak & Sapele.
Of course, she has all the usual high specifications that you would expect from Duck Island Boat Company including a king-size bed, full central heating, luxury bathroom, fitted kitchen with full-size appliances and many features you would normally only find on owner owned boats.
As you enter from the large cruiser stern, you step into the stunning bedroom finished in high gloss solid walnut & incorporating a king-size bed with luxury memory foam mattress, sumptuous pillows & duvet, hotel quality cotton bedding, built-in high gloss wardrobes and drawers, LED ceiling lights & mood lighting.
The large contemporary walk through bathroom has a large glass shower cubicle with waterfall shower head, deluxe flushing toilet, vanity unit with porcelain sink, Italian designer floor tiles & wall panels, led lighting to shower, shower tray, skirting boards and ceiling.
The stunning oval-shaped solid walnut door leads to the kitchen which is fully equipped and fitted with a range of wall and base units incorporating a porcelain butlers sink, solid walnut worktops, breakfast bar with stools and overhead lighting, full-size cooker and fridge, led lighting to kickboards and ceiling.
The elegantly appointed lounge has a free-standing chesterfield sofa, 32″ free view TV with built-in DVD player, mood lighting, coordinating soft furnishings & full height double glass doors which lead onto the canopied front deck with seating.
